Safety First
This afternoon, the children suggested we create signs with sandbox rules. With teacher Andrea's guidance, the children created a list of rules:
1. Don't throw sand toys at the gate.
2. Keep the sand in the sandbox.
3. Keep the sand out of the drain.
4. Be careful with sand, keep it out of our friend's eyes and bodies.
5. Don't throw toys at our friends. Be safe with the toys.
Amir added a sixth rule: Please do not step on friends sandcastles.
After creating a list, the children drew pictures to represent each rule.
