Señorita Mariposa with Alejandra (Isabella's Mom)

By

This week we had a special visitor, Isabella's Mom! Alejandra read us a story called Señorita Mariposa by Ben Gundersheimer. It describes the fascinating journey of Monarch Butterflies migrating from North America, all the way to Mexico. This event happens annually between the months of August and October. After the story, the children made their own monarch butterflies using coffee filters, clothespins, and watercolor! Thank you for spending time with us, Alejandra.
