Utopia Cafe Grand Opening! 🍪☕💵
Our Utopia Cafe grand opening was the best time! The children have been playing 'coffee shop' in the Dramatic Play Area for over a month now and we finally got to include the grownups in our fun. The children designed the logo, menus, ordering sheets, and welcome signs in preparation for our opening. The week prior, they practiced taking orders, counting money, wearing aprons, and pouring milk and water at snack time so they would be ready to work at our coffee shop!
We are so happy that we got to spend some extra time with the families this week and so they could see how much work the children have been putting into this project. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!
Special thank you to Teacher Stephanie for making the logo stickers for our cups and Teacher Cassie for baking the delicious cookies!
